What happens after you get in touch

How a project runs at Ashstudio, from the first conversation through to a product on the store.

  1. Discover

Understand the problem, the people it affects, and what success actually looks like before any code is written.

  2. Plan

Agree the scope, features, architecture and delivery milestones — so the shape of the project is clear up front.

  3. Design

Define the product experience and interface: what each screen does and how someone moves between them.

  4. Build

Develop in structured iterations, with something reviewable at the end of each one rather than a single reveal.

  5. Test

Validate functionality, performance and usability on real devices, not just on a simulator.

  6. Launch

Prepare the release, publish to the stores, and keep improving the product after it is live.

Before step one

How it starts

Everything above begins with a conversation. There are two ways to have it.

Book a call if you would rather talk it through. It is usually enough to work out whether an idea is feasible, roughly what it takes, and what the first version should contain.

Send an enquiry if you would rather write it down first. Tell us what you want to build, what platforms it needs to run on, and any constraints you already know about.

Either way, the next thing that happens is step 01 — understanding the problem properly before anyone writes code.

Step 01 begins whenever you are.
