Why Ashstudio exists
Ashstudio is an independent product and software studio building useful applications, games and digital products.
The studio exists to give those products a professional identity and a long-term platform to be developed, published and grown from — rather than a series of one-off builds under an individual name.
Alongside its own portfolio, Ashstudio works with founders, startups and businesses who want an idea turned into a well-designed, production-ready application. The work spans productivity, communication and games; some products are released and some are still being built.

Build useful software, keep it simple, and make every technical decision serve the product.
Solve a real problem first
Features come after there is something worth building. A product that does one useful thing well beats one that does eight things nobody asked for.
Keep the experience simple
An interface should be obvious on first use. If something needs explaining, the design is usually the thing that needs fixing.
Performance and reliability are features
An app that stutters or crashes has failed, however good it looks. Both are treated as requirements, not as polish to do later.
Build for real devices
Products are designed for the hardware and conditions people actually have — mid-range phones, patchy connections, limited storage — not just for a fast device on good Wi-Fi.
Use infrastructure efficiently
Backend choices are made with running costs in mind, so a product stays affordable to operate as it grows rather than becoming expensive the moment it succeeds.
Collect as little as possible
No unnecessary data collection, and no account requirement unless the product genuinely needs one.
Purposeful over decorative
Every element earns its place. Complexity and visual decoration that do not serve the product get cut.
Built to be maintained
Products are written to be lived with — updated, extended and improved over years rather than shipped once and abandoned.

Founder & Developer
I'm Ashutosh, the founder and developer behind Ashstudio. I focus on building mobile applications, games and digital products with an emphasis on practical functionality, thoughtful user experience, performance and scalability.
Through Ashstudio I develop products for its own portfolio, while working with founders and businesses in India and internationally to turn ideas into real software products.
I have been developing mobile applications for around three years, across Android and cross-platform development — product work, UI implementation, backend integration, and taking applications from concept through to launch.

Ashstudio is open to working with clients in India and internationally. Remote collaboration is the default: progress is shared as it happens rather than revealed at the end, which is what makes distance a non-issue.
