Privacy

The short version

• The only information collected is what you choose to type into the contact form.
• There are no analytics, no cookies, no advertising trackers and no third-party scripts on this site.
• Browsing the site does not store anything about you in our own systems. Like any website, our hosting platform keeps standard server logs — see “Server logs” below.
• Your details are used to reply to you. Nothing else.
• Nothing is ever sold or shared for marketing.

What the contact form collects

Required: your name, your email address, what you want to build, the platform you need, and your message.

Optional: your phone number, your company name, and your timeline. Leaving these blank is fine and they are simply not stored.

Along with your submission we record the time it was sent, which page it came from, and a status used to track whether it has been replied to.

Your enquiry itself does not include your IP address, your browser or your device, and nothing in it follows you between visits. (The hosting platform’s server logs are a separate matter, covered below.)

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the only purpose. You provide it voluntarily by choosing to send the form, and the form asks for the minimum needed to give you a useful answer — three required fields plus the message itself.

Submitting the form does not subscribe you to anything. There is no mailing list.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), in the asia-south1 region — Mumbai, India.

The database is not readable from a browser. Enquiries are written by this website’s server, and the database’s security rules deny access to every client, so no visitor can read, list or alter enquiries — including their own.

Server logs

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting platform (Google Firebase App Hosting) that keeps standard server logs of requests — typically the page requested, the time, and technical details such as your IP address and browser type. They exist to run and secure the service and to diagnose faults. We do not use them to profile visitors and we do not combine them with enquiries. The platform keeps them for a limited period that it controls.

The website runs on Google Cloud infrastructure in Singapore, with pages cached on Google’s global network, so a request may be handled outside India.

If an enquiry cannot be saved, the details needed to recover it — your email address and the type of project — are written to those logs so that we can still reply to you.

Who else receives it

Currently in use:

• Google Firebase (Firestore) — Stores contact enquiries so they can be read and replied to. Stored in asia-south1 (Mumbai, India). Their privacy policy.
• Google Firebase App Hosting (Google Cloud Run) — Serves the website and runs the contact form's server code. Keeps standard server request logs. Runs in asia-southeast1 (Singapore); pages are cached on Google's global network. Their privacy policy.

Not yet in use. These are listed so this page does not quietly gain a third party the day a feature ships — it will be updated, and named here, before any of them receive anything:

• Scheduling provider — Would handle consultation bookings. Anything entered there goes to that provider directly, not to Ashstudio.
• Analytics provider — Would record anonymous interaction counts. None is in use.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag, and no third-party script of any kind.

If analytics are added later, this page will say which provider, what is recorded, and whether consent is required — before it goes live.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live or could reasonably resume. We would rather tell you honestly that a fixed retention period has not yet been set than publish one that is not actually enforced.

You can ask for your enquiry to be deleted at any time and it will be, without needing a reason.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your enquiry entirely
• send you a copy of what you submitted

Email ashstudio.app@gmail.com from the address you used, and we will action it.

Security

Enquiries travel over an encrypted connection and are written by the server, never by your browser. The credentials that allow access to the database are held by the hosting platform and are not present in the website’s code.

No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say that than claim otherwise.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and people commissioning software. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If what we collect or how we handle it changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in.
